Take some time to think about how you want to promote yourself. Think about what you would be interested in learning about someone you were thinking about sponsoring
Apart from basic details about your name; where you live; and your age, sex, height, weight, etc, include details such as - when you started playing tennis and why; how much you practice; what tournaments you have played in an how you did; what support you now have; if you have a regular coach; what your strengths are; what your plans are for the next year; how good you think you are and will become; which famous players inspire you and why; which famous players you think you most resemble in terms of how you play and why; what you need to be more successful; why you think you will be successful; what you can offer a sponsor; why someone should sponsor you rather than anyone else....
Also include personal details that make you a 'person' to a potential sponsor rather than just someone who hits a tennis ball. f you have digital photographs, attach them to your email (if you don't have any you will want to find someone
with a digital camera who can take some for you and send them later).
Because investment sponsorship is also about the possibility of the investor earning a return on his investment, you should take some time to prepare a budget that details what you think you will need to spend over the coming year to pursue your tennis career and how much you expect to earn in prize money and other tennis-related revenue. This does not have to be too formal at this stage. We can help you put together a proper
